Built in 1897, this Nashville Parthenon is a full-copy of the original Greek Parthenon which was constructed to celebrate the Goddess Athena whom ancient roman people considered as their protector god. Nowadays, the Nashville Parthenon opens for public with its function as an art museum in Centennial Park. In the museum collects 63 paintings of the 19th and 20th century American artists.
